One CNN Center
PROJECT BRIEF:
CNN's new weekly magazine show, "One CNN Center", was to be CNN's first joint online, ITV, and television expereience. I was responsible for the following:
- identity system and multi-media brand guide
- website
- ITV interface
- television bugs
- conceptual motion design for show television opening
SOLUTION:
Because there were multiple design departments that were developing this project, I developed a cd-rom with interactive quicktimes demonstrating cross-media branding solutions that could be distributed to creative directors by the show's producers. I developed a identity system, based on movement, for implementation in all the media formats. My goal was to inspire designers to "push it" in their specific media. For instance, TV producers wanted to use a countdown element, so I used a the flash editrorial feature preloader from the website as visual style in the television opening.
