META MATIC NEU and YOU
In development for 3 years, this uses gear found at consumer retail outlets. Based on early motion experiments by Jean Tinguely in the 1930's, called "Meta-matics". We removed the physical machines, the car engines, and instead use the movement of the human body through space to propel large abstract shapes projected onto giant screens. This project will be completed in September 2004. Museums and Galleries are encouraged to contact us for proposals.
